TEXAS SELECT CUSTOM CUTLERY EVENT APRIL 2, 3 AT AUSTIN CO. FAIRGROUNDS
The largest organized gathering of bladesmiths from the popular History Channel show, “Forged in Fire”, will soon be coming to Bellville.
Over 200 custom knifemakers and vendors from around the United States will be at the Austin County Fairgrounds on April 2nd and 3rd for the Texas Select Custom Cutlery Event.
Doors will open to the public at 9 a.m. each day, with forging demonstrations all day long. A live auction will take place at 11:30 a.m., followed by a chopping competition at 1 p.m.
Proceeds from a drawing for a custom blade from Phenix Knives will go the Bellville Engineering, Science and Technology (B.E.S.T) Booster Club to support the club’s science camp and scholarship fund.
Tickets are $5 at the door. Parking at the Fairgrounds is free.
