On Seniors Night, the Brenham Cubettes wrapped up the home portion of their schedule with a 2-1 victory over Bryan Rudder.

The game was scoreless until the bottom of the fifth inning.  Kaylyn Rodriguez scored on a sacrifice fly by Della Jasinski to make it 1-0 Cubettes.

Rudder tied it 1-1 with a run in the top of the sixth inning.

Brenham retook the lead 2-1 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Kenley Mikolajchak singled in Halle Scheel with what would turn out to be the game winning run.

Jasinski got the win going seven innings, allowing only two hits, two walks, and one earned run, while striking out 14.

Prior to the game, the team honored their three outgoing seniors Kenley Mikolajchak, Cortney Ragnes, and Grace Ramsey, who were playing in their final regular season home game at Alumni Field.

The Cubettes now get ready to travel to Magnolia for their final regular season game Friday night.  Both teams are tied for third place in the district with 10-5 records. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30pm with a 6:05pm pregame on KWHI.
