BRENHAM CUBS SET THEIR REGION QUARTERFINAL SERIES WITH COLLEGE STATION

The Brenham Cub Baseball Team has set their Region Quarterfinal series with the College Station Cougars.

• Game 1: Thursday, 7pm, Navasota High School
• Game 2: Friday, 7pm, Fireman's Park in Brenham
• Game 3: (If Necessary) Sat, TBD, Mumford High School

All games will be broadcast live on KWHI 1280AM, 101.7FM, and KWHI.com.

Brenham is coming off a two game sweep over Pflugerville Hendrickson 5-4 and 10-4.  College Station beat Austin Anderson 2-1.  Anderson won the first game 6-5, but then College Station bounced back to win 12-0 and 9-4.

In the season series, each team won on their opponent's field.  On April 19, College Station beat Brenham 6-5 at Fireman's Park.  The Cubs then bounced back on April 22, and beat the Cougars 10-4 in 12 innings at College Station High School.
