One local organization is helping twelve high school seniors make their dreams of going to college a reality.

The Knights of Columbus Council 3287 at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Brenham awarded $10,250 worth of scholarships during their banquet this past Tuesday evening.

Scholarship winners were Bryant Bejar, Ana Espinosa, Trinity Geick, Katrina Goforth, Michael Holder, Sonia Lopez, Katie Mikolajchak, Kenley Mikolajchak, Samuel Olivarez, Peria Santibanez, Maria Solis, and Andrew Zscech.

The Knights of Columbus Council has been awarding scholarships to deserving high school seniors since their inception back in 1950.

Higher education pursuits in this group of students include nursing, business, film making, drama, welding technology, and finance.
