NAVASOTA POLICE LOOKNG FOR SUSPECTS IN RESTAURANT BURGLARY

  

The Navasota Police Department is asking for the public’s help in looking for two suspects that broke into a local barbecue restaurant.

The burglary occurred at Best Things Smoking located at 1221 La Salle Street in Navasota.

The owner, Mark McGinty, told police that sometime after 4am Sunday morning two men entered his business dressed in black and wearing face coverings.

The break-in occurred not long after McGinty had left the restaurant which he said suggests that they may have been watching him and waiting for him to leave.

Entry appears to have been gained by removing a window air conditioner and crawling through the opening.

Then, they proceeded to steal both his cash register and his tip jar.

McGinty posted photos and video of the suspects on his Facebook page.
