Streets addressed by the city were North Austin Street, Baber Street, Shepard Street, Carolyn Street, Janet Street, South Baylor Street, Cottonwood Street, Liberty Street, Bryan Street, Jersey Lane, North Saeger Street, Rink Street, Clayton Drive and Glenn Drive.

Rau said it is very important to continue the process of maintaining city streets in order to not fall behind.

A total of 102 street miles are maintained by the city street department.

Left off the list of street improvements due to inflation were Bob, Campbell and Matilda Streets, but Rau said they should be done this fall when more funding comes in.  In addition, onyx sealing will occur in September on Spinn Street, Tison Street, LJ Street, Hillside Drive, Clearspring Drive and Robinhood Road, consisting of 1.7 miles of roadway.  The work is projected to cost $230,263.
