AL DRESSEN SUPER SWING REVUE DANCE COMING TO CAT SPRING
The Cat Spring Agricultural Society is inviting the public to hear some live music this weekend.
Al Dressen’s Super Swing Revue Dance will be held Saturday at the Cat Spring Hall at 13,035 Hall Road.
The band has been playing western swing since the late 1970’s. According to their website, they learned the style from five members of Bob Wills’ Texas Playboys.
Some of the songs they play include: Faded Love, San Antonio Rose, Amarillo by Morning, Silver Wings, Heartaches by the Number, and Take Me Back to Tulsa.
In addition to country and western swing, they also play polkas and waltzes.
The doors open at 6:30pm with the music starting at 7:30pm. Tickets are $20 each.
