BURTON SCHOOL BOARD TO REVIEW REBID ITEMS FOR BOND PROJECT

  

The Burton School Board will consider rebid items for the school bond project when it meets tomorrow (Thursday).

DSA Construction Management and Reliance Architecture will be at the meeting to discuss with trustees the various rebids for campus improvement materials.  They include items for sitework, concrete, masonry, metals, wood, thermal protection, doors and windows, tile and carpet, equipment, and other specialties.

Superintendent Dr. Edna Kennedy said at Monday’s meeting that the items have lower cost projections than from when Burton ISD first went out for bid. 

The board will meet tomorrow at 6 p.m. in the Burton Elementary School library.
