BLUE BELL RECOGNIZED AS LOCAL EMPLOYER OF EXCELLENCE; WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS BRAZOS VALLEY HONORED
Blue Bell Creameries was recently honored by Workforce Solutions Brazos Valley as the 2022 Local Employer of Excellence.
The company accepted the award at the Texas Workforce Commission’s (TWC) 25th Annual Texas Workforce Conference last month in Dallas. The award recognizes private-sector employers who are actively involved with Texas Workforce Solutions and make a positive impact on workers and the community.
In a press release announcing the award, Workforce Solutions said Blue Bell “is an integral part of our community” and “has proven that they are committed to hiring locally and investing in the training and advancement of their employees.”
TWC Commissioner Representing Employers Aaron Demerson said the Employer of Excellence Award speaks to Blue Bell’s “monumental contributions to Texas and their local community.”
Meanwhile, Workforce Solutions Brazos Valley was also honored during the conference, as it received first place for Service to Job Seekers. The TWC recognizes Texas Workforce Development boards for exemplary service to their communities.
Workforce Solutions Brazos Valley is one of 28 local workforce boards throughout Texas. The board serves Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Madison, Robertson and Washington counties.
