BURTON SCHOOL BOARD APPROVES JOINT ELECTION CONTRACT WITH WASHINGTON CO.

  

The Burton School Board on Monday signed off on a joint election contract with the Washington County Elections Office to handle all election responsibilities.

The agreement means Burton voters will have a central location, and that Burton ISD, the City of Burton and Blinn College will share a ballot. 

Early voting will be at the Washington County Courthouse Annex starting April 24^th and ending May 2^nd.  On Election Day, May 6^th, all voting in Burton will take place at the Burton Community Center from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Three seats are up for election on the board.  Four candidates have filed, including incumbents Dean Fuchs, Misty Lucherk and Donna Putnam, along with former trustee Ande Bostain.
