CUBS AND CUBETTES BACK ON THE DIAMOND TONIGHT (FRIDAY)

The Brenham Cub Baseball Team will be going on the road to face the Montgomery Bears tonight (Friday) at 7pm. All the action can be heard live on KWHI 1280AM, 101.7FM, and KWHI.com beginning with the pregame at 6:35pm.

Montgomery won the opener, 3-2, this past Tuesday at Fireman's Park. Montgomery is 8-11-1 overall, and 1-4 in district, while the Cubs are 13-9 overall and 0-5 in district.

Other District 21-5A Games: Lake Creek at Magnolia, College Station at Magnolia West, and Bryan Rudder at A&M Consolidated

The Brenham Cubettes are also on the road tonight (Friday) as they travel to Magnolia to start the second half of district play. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30pm.

Brenham, Magnolia, and College Station are in a three-way tie for second place with each having a 5-2 district record. Magnolia won the first meeting between the two, 7-5, back on February 28 at Alumni Field.
