BURTON SCHOOL BOARD TO MEET ON WEDNESDAY
The Burton ISD Board of Trustees is scheduled to hold their next meeting on Wednesday night.
The board is scheduled to get the latest update on the Facilities Bond Project along with reports from Superintendent Dr. Edna Kennedy, Athletic Director Jason Hodde, and the school principals.
Among the agenda items is to push back their next meeting from May 8 to May 9, which is the first official day that they can canvass the May 6th School Board Election.
Plus, they are scheduled to have a discussion on District Safety and Security.
Board members will also be considering the Texas Association of School Boards Risk Management Fund’s New Comprehensive Coverage Program proposal for 2023-2024.
In addition to that, they will consider the approval of instructional material allotment and Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills Certification.
They will also be meeting in executive session to discuss personnel and confer with employees.
The Burton ISD Board of Trustees meet on Wednesday at 6pm in the Burton High School Auditorium.
