LOCAL SCHOOLS TAKE PART IN 3A AREA TRACK MEETS
The track teams from Hempstead High School and Anderson-Shiro High School took part in the Class 3A Area Track Meet on Wednesday in Coldspring. The top four finishers in each event are moving on to the Regional III Meet at Waco Midway being held April 28-29.
Meanwhile, Columbus took part in the Class 3A Area Track Meet in Seguin on Wednesday. The top four finishers in each even move on to the Region IV, which is also at Seguin, April 28-29.

Danica Williams - 4th place in Girls High Jump and 3rd place in Girls Long Jump
