BRENHAM JUNIOR HIGH STUDENTS AT THE SOLO FESTIVAL

  

Local band students had a big weekend as they took part in the Solo Festival held at the Brenham Junior High School this past Saturday.

Members of the Brenham Junior High School Band prepared solos, and then performed them for a judge to receive a rating. 

141 students received excellent ratings from the judges, which is the highest rating given.

Brenham Junior High also had students receive Outstanding Performance recognition. 

According to Band Director Karla Rettig, the judge selected those students for going above and beyond in performing their solos at an exceptional level.

The judges for the Solo Festival were made up of band directors from around the area, who were brought in, judged each student’s performance, and gave them a rating.
