BURTON LADY PANTHERS DEFEAT SHINER ST. PAUL 2-0 IN PLAYOFF WARMUP

Despite having a first round bye in the playoffs, the Burton Lady Panthers are staying busy. Last (Tuesday) night, the Lady Panthers beat the Shiner St. Paul Lady Cardinals 2-0.

The game was scoreless until the bottom of the sixth inning. Amaya Williams led off the inning with a double. Then, she came around to score on an RBI double by Paige Fritsch. Fritsch would then score on an RBI single by Allie Biggs to make it 2-0.

Bailey Glaesmann went the distance allowing just one run, walking two, and picking up 12 strikeouts.
