TWO DAYS OF EARLY VOTING BRING OVER 700 PARTICIPANTS
Day two of early voting in Washington County outpaced the first day.
Washington County Elections Administrator Carol Jackson says there were 393 voters on Tuesday, compared to 342 on Monday. That brings the two-day total to 735 ballots cast.
Tuesday’s votes included 393 in the Blinn College election, 382 for Brenham ISD, 199 for the City of Brenham, 11 for Burton ISD and two for the City of Burton.
Early voting at the Washington County Courthouse Annex runs on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Tuesday. Election Day is Saturday, May 6th.
