‘TOMORROW’S MAN’ COMMUNITY PICNIC SATURDAY AT FIREMAN’S PARK
Three men with strong ties to Washington County are organizing an effort to reach out to local youth.
A “Tomorrow’s Man” community picnic is taking place Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Fireman’s Park pavilion, inviting families with sons ages 10-14. The free event was created by Willie Bimage, Charles Dorsey and Shon Callahan, who wish to help prepare youth for their future.
Bimage says he, Dorsey and Callahan want to use the lessons they have learned through their lives to provide guidance to young men who need it.
Bimage plans to begin gathering regularly to teach honesty, integrity and leadership to the next generation.
Bimage says the public’s response to this event has been “great”, and that it has been “really receptive.” He hopes that through this effort, they can make the community and the world “a better place.”
