ARTWALK 2023 COMING TO FAYETTEVILLE MAY 6-7
Arts for Rural Texas is bringing ArtWalk 2023 to Fayetteville for the weekend of May 6-7.
Every year during the first weekend of May, the historic square in Fayetteville welcomes nearly 60 artists of different forms of media to sell their original works.
These include paintings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, and more.
The activities run from 10am-5pm on Saturday, May 6, and from 10am-4pm on Sunday, May 7, with live music throughout both days in the gazebo.
Saturday’s entertainment will include Annie Rose and Mayor Mike Stroup at 10am, Bill Pekar at 12:30pm, and Jack “The Sax” Carr at 3pm.
A free concert follows beginning at 5:15pm with “Houston’s First Lady of Blues” Trudy Lynn and then the Steve Krase Band plays from 6-8pm.
On Sunday, the entertainment will be provided by Jeff Robertson Bluegrass at 10am, and Amanda Peevler Adams at 12:30pm.
Other activities include Wine Tastings, Children’s Activities, and visitors may eat from one of the food trucks in attendance, or stop in at one of the restaurants on the square in downtown Fayetteville.
