DAIRY DAY IN WASHINGTON COUNTY ON SATURDAY

4-H and FFA members from around the area will learn more about dairy cattle starting this weekend at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service’s annual “Dairy Day” in Brenham.

“Dairy Day” will begin tomorrow (Saturday) morning in Barn #3 at the Washington County Expo. Check-in is at 8am with the show starting at 9am.

Judging awards will be presented for Old Timer Jackpot Showmanship, PeeWee Showmanship, Junior and Senior Champions, Grand Champion, and a Supreme Champion.

Entries that missed Wednesday’s deadline can still sign up, but they will be assessed a late fee.

Entry forms can be submitted online at https://washington.agrilife.org/dairyday.

They can also be e-mailed to Kara Matheney at kjmatheney@ag.tamu.edu, or sent via e-mail to the Washington County Extension Service-Dairy Committee.

Rip Rolling will be broadcasting live from “Dairy Day” here on KWHI starting tomorrow (Saturday) at 10am on 1280AM, 101.7FM, and kwhi.com.
