BURTON CITY COUNCIL TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING ON STATE GRANT PROGRAM

  

The Burton City Council will hold a special meeting and public hearing on Monday regarding the Texas Community Development Block Grant Program.

The city is considering an amendment to its 2021-22 grant program contract with the Texas Department of Agriculture Office of Rural Affairs.  The amendment is for the scope of work for the water improvements activity associated with the contract in the Main, Railroad and South Brazos Street area.

Citizens are invited to give their input at the public hearing before the council votes on a resolution pertaining to the amendment.

The council will meet Monday at 5:05 p.m. at Burton City Hall.
