BELLVILLE’S BREWER WINS 1200TH MATCH, NAMED COACH OF THE WEEK

This past Friday, Bellville Volleyball Coach Susan Brewer reached another milestone in her legendary career. The Brahmanettes defeated East Bernard 3-2.

Bellville won the first set 25-12, East Bernard won the second set 29-27, Bellville took the third set 25-19, East Bernard captured the fourth set 25-22, but Bellville would eventually survive the night with a 15-13 victory in the fifth and deciding set.

The match was the 1,200th victory in the career of Coach Brewer.

The Hall of Famer has been with the Bellville Volleyball program since it began in 1977.

In honor of her milestone victory, Texas Volleyball Insiders has named Brewer as their Coach of the Week.

Next up, the Brahmanettes will host Brookshire Royal this Friday night in their district opener.
