BURTON AND RTC PICK UP DISTRICT WINS ON FRIDAY

The Burton Lady Panther and the Round Top-Carmine Cubette Volleyball Team each picked up victories in district play on Friday night.

The Lady Panthers defeated Snook in a three set sweep (25-10, 25-15, and 25-11). They are now 2-0 in district. Next up, Burton will visit Somerville tomorrow (Tuesday). The JV will start at 5pm, followed by the Varsity

Meanwhile, the Round Top-Carmine Cubettes beat Prairie Lea in three straight sets (25-11, 25-9, and 25-4). The Cubettes won the sets 25-11, 25-9, and 25-4. The win improve to RTC to 2-0 in district. Next up, they will travel to Waelder for a 4pm match tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon.
