WALLER ISD EMPLOYEE FIRED OVER SEXUAL ASSAULT ACCUSATION

  

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a sexual assault case that led to the termination of a Waller ISD employee.

According to a report by KTRK-TV in Houston, the employee was a paraprofessional at the Schultz Junior High School in Waller.

School officials were notified about the alleged sexual assault at 3pm Monday. The incident is said to have occurred off campus.

The school district has not said whether the allegation involves a student, but that the employee has been fired.

The Sheriff’s Office said due to the investigation being in the early stages, they could not release any further information, but that they have been interviewing everyone involved.

Waller ISD released a statement saying, “The safety of the WISD family is our highest priority, and misconduct will not be tolerated.”
