CUBETTES BEAT RUDDER AND RAISE OVER $9,000 ON DIG PINK NIGHT

The Brenham Cubettes sent their crowd home happy with a 3-0 “Dig Pink Night” win over Bryan Rudder.

Brenham won the sets 25-18, 25-19, and 25-12.

Charli Crowson led the team with 14 kills, while Lillie Thibodeaux was right behind her with 12. 

Averi Frazier continued a season of milestones for the Cubettes as she picked up her 1,000th career assist.

Brenham improves to 28-12 on the season and 9-1 in district.  Next up, the Cubettes will be at Lake Creek on Friday. 

As part of last night’s “Dig Pink Night”, the team had set a goal of raising $6,000 for the Side Out Foundation for Breast Cancer Research.

They blew well past that goal raising $9,135 and counting.  As of last night, they were still waiting on the totals from the Kendra Scott donations.

Lake Creek defeated Magnolia West 3-1 (25-18, 18-25, 25-11, and 28-26)
