RT-C FINISHES UNBEATEN IN DISTRICT WITH WIN OVER MCDADE
The Round Top-Carmine Cubettes finished an undefeated District 28-A Championship run with a three set sweep over McDade last (Tuesday) night.
RT-C swept the Lady Bulldogs 25-6, 25-17, and 25-9.
Tess Eilers led the offense with 12 kills.
Mallory Krause had 18 assists and 9 digs.
Jill Eilers finished with 8 assists, 9 digs, and 6 aces.
The Cubettes wrapped up district play with an 8-0 record, and are now 33-7 overall.
Maxpreps.com has RT-C ranked as the #2 team in the State in the 1A division.
The Cubettes get a first round bye in the playoffs.
