BRENHAM POLICE ARREST HOUSTON MAN FOR THEFT
A Houston man was arrested for theft by Brenham police on Saturday.
Just after 7 p.m., Officer Myles Masters was conducting a business check in the 2800 block of Wood Ridge Boulevard when he was flagged down by someone reporting that a theft had just occurred.
After investigation, it was revealed that 53-year-old Demetrick Ramon Erwin allegedly took merchandise past all points of sale, failing to render payment.
Erwin was placed into custody for Theft of Property less than $2,500 with Two or More Previous Convictions. He was taken to the Washington County Jail and booked in without further incident.
