BRENHAM’S SEASON ENDS AT HANDS OF MONTGOMERY

The season came to an end for the Brenham Cubette Volleyball Team as they fell to the Montgomery Lady Bears 3-1 last (Tuesday) night at the Waller High School Gym.

Montgomery won the first two sets 25-17 and 25-17. 

Brenham came back to win the third set 25-16.

In the fourth set, the Cubettes were leading 17-11 at one point, but the Lady Bears rallied to win 26-24, and take the match. 

Brenham finishes the season with a record of 35-14.

Montgomery moves on to the Region Tournament where they will face Fulshear in the semifinals on Friday at 5pm at the Merrell Center in Katy. In the other semifinal, College Station will play Barbers Hill at 7pm.

The Region Championship is Saturday at noon.
