GOV. ABBOTT ENDORSES TREY WHARTON FOR HOUSE DISTRICT 12
The now-lone Republican candidate in the race for Texas House District 12 has been endorsed by Governor Greg Abbott.

On Monday, Abbott announced his endorsement for Trey Wharton of Huntsville, who declared his candidacy in October and officially filed for the position earlier this month.
Abbott’s endorsement follows current House District 12 Representative Kyle Kacal’s decision to no longer seek re-election, after initially planning to do so. Kacal was first elected in November 2012.
Wharton has operated Wharton Insurance Network out of Huntsville for over 30 years and has been a member of the Huntsville School Board since 2015.
