WASHINGTON CO. GO TEXAN BBQ COOK-OFF JAN. 19-20
Washington County will soon bring the best BBQ-ers around the area together for the annual Go Texan Cook-off and Fundraiser.
The event will take place January 19-20 at La Bahia Hall in Burton on Highway 237.
The cook-off will include several categories like chicken, pork ribs, brisket, chili and jackpot beans. There will also be contests for margaritas, bloody marys and a steak shootout.
A live auction will take place on January 20th at 5:30 p.m. Tickets for a drawing are also available.
Attendees can bring their own coolers, as the event is BYOB.
Proceeds go to the Washington County Go Texan youth scholarship fund.
