SIX BRENHAM POWERLIFTERS GOING TO REGIONALS
Six members of the Brenham High School Powerlifting Team are going to Regionals. Four Brenham Cubs and two Brenham Cubettes qualified for the Texas High School Powerlifters Association Region 2 Meet.
According to the rankings on the THSPA website, for the Cubettes, Kaleigh Daniels is ranked 11th in the 132lb. weight class, while Khaliah Jeffrey is 28th in the 242+ weight class.
The Girls Region 2 Powerlifting Meet is going to be held on Friday in Elgin beginning at 6pm.
For the Cubs, Evo Beach is ranked 12th in the 123lb. weight class, Michael Gonzalez is 1st in the 165lb weight class. John Rigsby is ranked 6th in the 181lb. weight class, and Miguel Rodriguez is ranked 5th in the 242lb. division.
The Boys Region 2 Powerlifting Meet is going to be held on Saturday, March 9, in Joshua, Texas.
