BRAD EVANS NAMED NEW CUBETTE HEAD BASKETBALL COACH

Brenham ISD did not have to look very far to find the new head of their Girls Basketball program at Brenham High School.  Brad Evans was named this (Thursday) afternoon as the new Varsity Girls Basketball Head Coach.

Evans has been already serving the district as the Athletic Coordinator at the Brenham Junior High School.

He has an eight-year career in education that included four years leading the basketball program at Woodville High School, plus he also coached football and track.

Coach Evans holds a bachelor’s degree from American InterContinental University, and he played football at Louisiana College.

Brenham ISD said in a press release, “His dynamic coaching style and strategic approach to the game make him an ideal fit to lead the Varsity Girl’s Basketball Team to new heights.”

Athletic Director Danny Youngs said that Coach Evans’ proven track record of success, combined with his passion for mentoring student-athletes, makes him the perfect candidate to lead the program.

Coach Evans is joined by his wife Alicia, who is a Special Education Teacher, and their three children: Jamari, Brayson, and Alayah.
