GIDDINGS POWER LIFTERS COMPETE AT STATE MEET

Members of the Giddings High School Girls Power Lifting Team competed at the State Meet in Frisco. 

The Lady Buffaloes had three of the top five finishers in the 242-plus pound weight class.  Ariana Ramirez finished 3^rd with a combined lift of 1,060 pounds.  Adriana Garcia finished 4^th with a combined lift of 1,055 pounds. Keira Blue finished 5^th with a combined lift of 1.040 pounds, which was also a personal best. 

In the 198 pound weight class, Jaiden Saucedo placed 3^rd with a combined lift of 1,020 pounds, which was also a personal best.

In the 181 pound weight class, Avery Mueller was 5^th with a combined lift of 905 pounds. 

Kayla Herrera was ninth in the 123 pound weight class with a combined lift of 725 pounds.
