WASHINGTON CO. MOTHERS, BRENHAM PREGNANCY CENTER HOLD SECOND COMMUNITY BABY SHOWER

Washington County mothers and mothers-to-be recently partnered with Brenham Pregnancy Center to hold their second community baby shower to help mothers in need.

New and expectant mothers were provided with
essential baby items during a community baby
shower on March 23rd. The event was co-organized
by Brenham Moms, Brenham Pregnancy Center and
Washington County Moms for America.

Following last fall’s inaugural event, the Brenham Moms Facebook group collaborated with the Brenham Pregnancy Center and Washington County Moms for America to hold the event this past Saturday at Brenham Presbyterian Church.

The gathering continued the tradition of showering local mothers with a variety of baby essentials like diapers and wipes, new baby items, stuffed animals, games, devotionals and gift certificates to use toward family photos.  The items were collected during community drives put together by numerous local businesses and organizations.

Mothers enjoyed food and refreshments from community members and local bakeries.  They also had the opportunity to learn about resources available to them as their families grow.

Event organizers say they are happy to be able to support these new parents through their journey and look forward to the next community baby shower in October.
