AUSTIN MAN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES
An Austin man was arrested in Brenham on Monday for narcotics possession.
(Washington Co. Jail)
At 12:30 p.m., Brenham Police Officer Nicolas Conforti stopped a vehicle in the 2200 block of Highway 290 West.
Police reported finding narcotics inside the vehicle during a search.
The driver, 53-year-old Angel Enrique Vega Alvarez, was placed under arrest and taken to the Washington County Jail, where he was charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
