FUNDRAISER, DONATION ACCOUNTS AVAILABLE TO SUPPORT VICTIMS OF DPS OFFICE ATTACK

Washington County community members and organizations are uniting to help out those who were impacted by the attack on the Brenham DPS Office on April 12th.

Brenham GameChangers has announced a drive-thru fundraiser on May 15th to support the victims of the incident.  Meals of lasagna, herb corn, green beans, rolls with cinnamon butter and cutie pies will be served from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

Update 5/3 @ 10:15 a.m. Brenham GameChangers has announced that due to the projected number of ticket sales for the fundraiser, meal pick-up is being moved from The Batter's Box to the Fireman's Training Center drive-thru area.

Tickets are $15 and will be sold starting Monday.  As of today (Saturday), people or locations that will be selling tickets include The Batter’s Box, Bake Shop at All Things Acres, Thielemann Construction, Van Dyke Rankin, Sew Stitches Boutique, Brenham Wildflowers, Cabin and Missie Warmke, KT Auto Plus, the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, Brenham Charcuterie Boards, and during Gather ‘N Grace’s Monday Family Dinners at the Fireman’s Park pavilion.

Sponsors for the fundraiser are Brenham GameChangers, The Batter’s Box, Bake Shop at All Things Acres and Brand It Graphix.

Meanwhile, Faith Mission is opening up donation accounts.  The accounts are at Brenham National Bank, Bank of Brenham and Citizens State Bank.  Faith Mission Executive Director Reverend Randy Wells says the dedicated accounts are administered through Faith Mission and will go directly to the hospitalized victims and their families.
