SEALY MATTRESS DONATES NEW MATTRESSES TO BRENHAM FIRE DEPT.
A local mattress company is helping members of the Brenham Fire Department get a better night’s sleep.
Sealy Mattress in Brenham has donated eight new mattresses to the Brenham fire station.
The fire department says the mattresses will be used by the personnel who rotate off of the department’s three shifts – each with six firefighters – every 48 hours. The remaining two mattresses have been set aside for future expansion of staff in the next year.
The department thanks Sealy Mattress for the donation, saying better sleep helps firefighters avoid getting hurt on the job and improves their performance in critical situations.
