TWO SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN LEE CO. HOMICIDE, ONE STILL SOUGHT

  

Three people are charged, and two have been arrested, in a homicide investigation in Lee County.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office announced today (Tuesday) that 18-year-old Jayden Dangelo Medearis and 27-year-old Atlantic Anthony Eredia-Johnson, both of Giddings, have been taken into custody and charged in the death of 36-year-old Carlos Ramone Greene, who was found dead with apparent gunshot wounds on March 5th at a home on County Road 123. 

Medearis is charged with Capital Murder, and Eredia-Johnson faces charges of Murder and Aggravated Robbery.

The sheriff’s office also identified a third suspect, 19-year-old Tavion Malique Williams of Midland, who is charged with Capital Murder and has not yet been located.

Warrants were issued on Monday for the arrest of the three men.

Medearis was located in Midland and was arrested by the Midland Police SWAT team.  Members of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division and Lee County Precinct 2 Constable’s Office transported Medearis to the Lee County Jail.

Eredia-Johnson was located in Gonzales and was arrested by the Gonzales Police Department.  He remains in the Gonzales County Jail.

Williams is believed to be in Midland.  Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact law enforcement.
