19-year-old Tavion Malique Williams of Midland was one of three suspects named by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday in the death of 36-year-old Carlos Ramone Greene.  Greene’s body was discovered with apparent gunshot wounds at a home on County Road 123 on March 5th.

This (Friday) morning, the sheriff’s office announced that Williams surrendered to authorities in Midland on Thursday and was taken into custody by Midland police on an outstanding warrant for Capital Murder in Lee County.

The other two suspects, identified as 18-year-old Jayden Dangelo Medearis and 27-year-old Atlantic Anthony Eredia-Johnson, are already in custody.  Medearis is charged with Capital Murder, and Eredia-Johnson faces charges of Murder and Aggravated Robbery.

Lee County Sheriff Garrett Durrenberger thanked the office’s criminal investigations team for its “dedication and persistence” in this case, as well as the local, state and federal partners who assisted in locating the suspects.
