COMMUNITY CORNER TO DISCUSS MAIFEST, CHAPPELL HILL VFD COOK-OFF
The annual Brenham Maifest and a fundraiser for the Chappell Hill Volunteer Fire Department will be this week’s topics on the KWHI Community Corner.
Maifest Association President Catherine Kenjura will preview the activities scheduled for the 134th Maifest, starting with the kick-off picnic on Wednesday at Fireman’s Park and continuing through Saturday with food, music, carnival games and coronation ceremonies.
Chappell Hill Volunteer Fire Department President Dustin Brown will discuss the department’s cook-off and rib shootout this Friday and Saturday at the Chappell Hill Fire Station.
