BRENHAM POLICE ARREST THREE ON RANGE OF CHARGES
Brenham police arrested three local residents on various charges this weekend.
At 11:15 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to the 200 block of Highway 290 West in reference to a complaint. Investigation found that 41-year-old Dustin Thompson of Brenham was intoxicated in a public place and had an active criminal trespass warning. Thompson was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked in for Public Intoxication and Criminal Trespass.
Shortly after 1:45 p.m. Sunday, Officer Nicolas Conforti conducted a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Northview Circle Drive. The driver, 39-year-old Andy Joelee Doolan of Brenham, was found to be operating a motor vehicle during a period that his driver’s license was under suspension. He was placed under arrest for Driving While License Invalid – Enhanced and booked into the Washington County Jail.
Just before 11 p.m. Sunday, Officer Lauren Vieceli made a traffic stop for a vehicle violation in the 200 block of East Academy Street. A handgun was found in plain view sitting on the console, within reach of the driver. Police arrested the driver, 35-year-old Gorey Lee Ragston of Brenham, for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. Ragston was transported to the Washington County Jail.
