CITY OF BRENHAM REVEALS LINEUP FOR 2024 SUMMER MOVIES

  

The City of Brenham will soon kick off its 15th year of free summer movies.

Three films will play this summer in the Movies in the Park series, one at Hohlt Park and two “Floats-n-Flicks” at the Blue Bell Aquatic Center. 

The first movie will be “Shark Tale” on Friday, May 31st at the Aquatic Center, starting at 8:30 p.m.  Film sponsors are Strand Associates and Citizens State Bank.

Next will be “Under the Boardwalk” on Friday, June 21st at Hohlt Park, beginning about 10 minutes after sunset.  Sponsors are Thielemann Construction and Stegent-Thielemann Plumbing. 

Rounding out the series will be “The Little Mermaid”, the live-action remake, on Friday, August 2nd at the Aquatic Center at 8:30 p.m.  Sponsoring the movie is Academy Sports + Outdoors.

Presenting sponsor for Movies in the Park is Brannon Industrial Group.  KWHI and KTEX-106 are also sponsors. 

For the “Floats-n-Flicks” at the Aquatic Center, gates will open at 8 p.m.  Guests must have a float in order to be in the pool during the movie.
