WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS HOLDING TWO MEETINGS ON MONDAY

  

The Washington County Commissioners Court is scheduled to hold a pair of meetings on Monday.

The Commissioners are first scheduled to hold a budget workshop at 9am at the Washington County Courthouse.

During the workshops, commissioners can discuss, review, and receive information regarding the proposed Washington County Fiscal Year 2027 budget.

This includes department and office budget requests, revenues , expenditures, personnel, capital needs, outside agency requests, fund balance, tax rate considerations, and other budget related matters.

Then, the Commissioners will be going across the street to the Courthouse Annex Lobby to meet in special session at 10:30am.

Garry Kimball with Specialized Public Finance is going to give a presentation regarding the County’s options for financing infrastructure projects.

The projects include the proposed judicial center, and the Expo covered rodeo arena. The change in meeting location is to allow larger space for anyone interested in attending.
