ASCHENBECK AMONG FIVE AGGIES NAMED NCBWA ALL-AMERICANS
National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association has released their 2024 All-American Team.
For Texas A&M, they had five players selected. Among them was former Brenham Cub and Blinn Buccaneer Evan Aschenbeck.
So far this season for the Aggies, Aschenbeck is 6-1 with a 1.66 ERA and nine saves. In 65 innings pitched, he has struck out 72 batters to only eight walks.
He is also a finalist for the NCBWA Stopper of the Year Award, which is scheduled to be announced tomorrow (Friday).
1st Team honors for A&M also went to C Jackson Appel, OF Braden Montgomery, and OF Jace LaViolette, while 2nd Team honors went to P Ryan Prager.
