BRENHAM EDF STARTS ELECTION PROCESS FOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS

  

The Brenham Economic Development Foundation (EDF) has sent out ballots to EDF members for its annual board of directors election.

Five directors will be elected to a three-year term, beginning on December 1st and running through November 30, 2027.  Six nominees appear on the ballot.

The terms of Chris Cangelosi of First American Title, Darren Huckert of Garza EMC, Jim Kolkhorst of Kolkhorst Foods, Kyle Merten of Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative and Randy Weidemann of Van Dyke Rankin expire on November 30th

Of those, Huckert, Kolkhorst, Merten and Weidemann are eligible for re-election.  They are joined on the ballot by Amy Ehlert of Brenham National Bank and Andy Hefferly of Moorman Tate, LLP.

Ballots must be returned to the EDF by noon on Friday, November 15th.  Results will be announced after the conclusion of the election.

After December 1st, the remainder of the board – along with the newly elected members – will include Blake Brannon of Brannon Industrial Group, Clayton Collier of Collier Construction, Tee Dippel of Brenham National Bank, Chad Gerke of The Gerke Law Firm, Trey Hardy of Germania Insurance, Randy Hodde of Hodde Real Estate, Jimmy Lawhorn of Blue Bell Creameries, Melissa McCune of Baylor Scott & White, Brice Milliorn of Edward Jones, Cyndee Smith of Oldham Goodwin, and Amanda Stolz of Seidel Schroeder.
