BRENHAM POLICE ARREST CALIFORNIA MAN ON CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, MARIJUANA POSSESSION CHARGES
A California man faces drug charges after his arrest by Brenham police on Tuesday.

Shortly after 11 a.m., Sergeant Jimmy Ha initiated a traffic stop near the 900 block of Highway 290 West.
The driver, 27-year-old Justin Stokes, was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz. and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 1-4 grams.
Stokes was transported to the Washington County Jail.
