SCHULENBURG HOLDING 10TH ANNUAL SAUSAGEFEST

  

The town of Schulenburg is getting ready for their 10th annual Sausagefest coming up on Saturday, April 5.

The day begins with a 5K Fun Run at 9am, followed by the Walking Parade and opening ceremonies featuring a performance by the Schulenburg Shorthorn High School Band at 11:15am.

If you would like to participate in the Walking Parade, officials ask that you line up near the Schulenburg Sticker office beginning at 10:45am. ATVs will be allowed with responsible drivers. Animals must be leashed, and well behaved.

Other activities include a Grand March in the streets at 12 noon, a hog calling contest at 3pm, and a sausage toss at 5:30pm. Food, drinks, and Arts and Crafts booths will be open, and there will be street dancing all day and night.

Musical entertainment will be provided by the Czechaholics from noon-3pm, Mark Halata and Texavia from 3:30-6:30pm, and Doc West Music from 7:30-10pm.
