WASHINGTON CO. APPRAISAL DISTRICT BOARD ADOPTS 2025-26 BUDGET

  

The Washington County Appraisal District Board of Directors adopted the budget for the 2025-26 Fiscal Year at its meeting on Tuesday.

The budget of $1,903,610 is up $215,635 from the previously adopted budget.  The increase consists of an extra $153,000 in personnel costs, $55,735 in professional and contracted services, and $6,900 in other operating costs.

No one attended a public hearing held prior to the vote on the budget.  Two budget workshops were held before Tuesday’s meeting, on February 25^th and March 25^th.
