BRENHAM CUB BASEBALL FALLS TO KINGWOOD PARK IN GAME 1, 6-3

The Brenham Cubs fell to Kingwood Park in Game 1 of their Bi-District playoff series. Brenham got off to a quick start, scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the first. Kingwood Park would cut that lead in half, scoring a run in the 3rd. Brenham would make it a 3-1 game by putting another run on the board in the 5th inning. Kingwood Park tied the game by plating 2 runs in the 6th inning. Things would stay tied and head to extra innings. In the top of the 9th Kingwood Park scored 3 runs and was able to hold Brenham in the bottom of the inning to get the victory.

Brenham and Kingwood Park will square off for Game 2 at Kingwood Park tonight with at 7:00 first pitch, 6:30 pregame on KWHI AM-1280, FM-101.7 and KWHI.com
