TEN SENTENCED IN 21ST DISTRICT COURT

  

Ten people pleaded guilty and were sentenced this week in 21st District Court before Judge John Winkelmann.

48-year-old Freddie Mitchell Hampton Jr. of Brenham, sentenced to 12 years in prison for Assault of a Family Member with Previous Conviction, a third degree felony, and for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 200-400 Grams, a first degree felony.  Hampton was also sentenced to 10 years in prison for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, a third degree felony.

33-year-old Khaundrica Williams of Houston, probation revoked and sentenced to 20 months in state jail for Theft of Property Less Than $2,500 with Two or More Previous Convictions, a state jail felony.  Williams was also ordered to pay $2,100 in restitution.

45-year-old Ruben Valencia Lopez of Brenham, probation revoked and sentenced to 18 months in state jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram, a state jail felony.  Lopez must also pay a $500 fine.

63-year-old Terrell Duane Nickerson of Brenham, sentenced to six months in state jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram, a state jail felony.

52-year-old Johnnie Lee Washington III of Navasota, sentenced to 5 years’ probation for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More, a third degree felony.  Washington was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and $100 to the EMS trauma fund, participate in a DWI education program, have an interlock device on his vehicle for one year, and perform 100 hours of community service.

25-year-old Gehrig Freeman Graham of Austin, sentenced to 5 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, 4-400 Grams, a second degree felony.  Graham must also pay a $500 fine and perform 100 hours of community service.

43-year-old Clyde Dean Williams Jr. of Brenham, sentenced to 5 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Evading Arrest with a Vehicle, a third degree felony.  Williams will also have to pay a $500 fine and perform 100 hours of community service.

61-year-old Keith Everett Morgan of College Station, sentenced to 3 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 1-4 Grams, a third degree felony.  Morgan was also fined $1,000 and ordered to complete 100 hours of community service.  Additionally, he was convicted of Fleeing a Police Officer, a Class B misdemeanor, and given time served in the Washington County Jail on that charge.

42-year-old Andrew Alexander Goff of Carmine, sentenced to 2 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Bigamy, a third degree felony.  Goff was also fined $500 and ordered to perform 50 hours of community service. 

20-year-old Keashia Michelle Hackett of Huntsville, sentenced to 20 days in the Washington County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, Less Than a Gram, a Class A misdemeanor.
