BRENHAM MAN BOOKED ON PAROLE VIOLATION WARRANT FOR AGGRAVATED SEXUAL ASSAULT OF CHILD
A Brenham man was arrested on Thursday on a parole violation warrant for child sexual assault charges.

Shortly after 2:15 p.m., Sergeant Tiffany Anderson assisted members of the Crime Reduction Unit and stopped a subject in the 100 block of West First Street.
Police say the subject, identified as 37-year-old Matthew Morales, was run through dispatch and had an active parole violation warrant out of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Parole Division.
After dispatch confirmed the warrant, Morales was placed into custody. He was transported to the Washington County Jail for Parole Violation for two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.
